2010 Season Pass Sale & Park closed until Memorial Day Weekend 2010

2010 season passes are now on sale for only $89.95 (ages 5 and up) now through April 1st. Junior passes (2-4 years old) are available for only $29.95. Sunlite Pool and Coney`s classic rides will open for the 2010 season on Memorial Day weekend, 2010.

Customer Appreciation Day 2009

Customer Appreciation Day is Sunday, September 13th. Hours for both Sunlite Pool and the classic rides are 11-6. Special pricing is available for both the pool and rides. Pool: $6.95 per person, Rides: $6.95 per person, and Pool and Rides: $9.95 per person. This is the last day of the season for Sunlite Pool!

Coney introduces the Twister in 2009

Coney will introduce the Twister water slide complex in 2009. The complex features four water slides; two body slides and two tube slides. Construction is set to begin in the spring on the $2 million project, with the slides opening with Sunlite Pool for Memorial Day weekend, 2009.

This new slide complex will be "the biggest single project we’ve done" at Sunlite Pool, said Vic Nolting, Coney`s President.

Coney Now Closed until 2009, Zoom Flume demolition

After the conclusion of the Fall-O-Ween Festival, Coney Island is now officially closed for the 2008 season. The park will reopen with the Cincinnati Flower Show, April 18th-26th, 2009. Sunlite Pool and the classic rides officially reopen Memorial Day weekend, 2009. For all the special events that will be held at Coney in 2009, click here.

The 31 year old Zoom Flume has completed its 32nd and final season of operation. The 500 foot long water slide that opened in the 1977 season was recently demolished to make way for new adventures in 2009. To see photos of the demolition of the Zoom Flume, click here.

Coney Island to add three new attractions in 2008

For the 2008 season, Coney will be adding three new attractions. Turtle Parade will be a kiddie ride with turtle shaped cars. Additionally, River Runner, a viking ship, will debut on the banks of Lake Como. The third new attraction to debut will be a Eurobungy Dome, and it will be an upcharge attraction.
